Thank you for supporting The Dougy Center and our programs to help grieving families.
About The Dougy Center
The Dougy Center provides support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults and their families grieving a death can share their experiences. Each month, 400 children, teens and young adults, and 250 adult family members attend peer grief support programs in Portland, Canby and Hillsboro.
Over the past 30 years, The Dougy Center has served 30,000 children, teens and their families. Our unique approach, using peer support to help people discover their own way through grief, has made us a worldwide leader in the field.
The Dougy Center does not charge families for our services, and we receive no government support. The program is supported entirely by private donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations, as well as from sales of our guidebooks and professional training fees.
